Tsaghkadzor resort (Gorge of Flowers in Armenian) is an hour drive from Yerevan.

It’s a ski resort on the slopes of Mountain Teghenis, which top will open a picturesque view for all the visitors.

The altitude of the resort is 1840m above sea level, and the dominant heights in local are-2800 m. above sea level.

Tsaghkadzor is the most popular and visited ski resort in Armenia. Climate and location are the main keys of its success. Winters here are gentle and pleasant. 274 sunny days per year. The average temperature in winter is +1-6°C and snow cover is more 1 meter during the whole season.

Many sportsmen from different countries come here for their trainings. The Sport Complex in here gives all necessary conditions. Not only professionals but also beginners and just ski lovers can find tracks designed for them. For more self confidence in skiing one can get a professional guidance from a qualified instructors. All the equipments can be rented from the rental office at the station.

 

The ski trails start from an altitude of 1966 meters.

The highest point of skiing is on altitude of 2820 meters. From here you can see Lake Sevan and Ararat mountain.

There are more than 30 km of slopes and 5 lifts. Non stop drive is 8km.

Almost along the length of the mountain you can find free WiFi. At the bottom (1966m)  as well as near the second station (2240 m.)  one can find a nice corner for a coffee break or light lunch.

 

Sled riding, snowmobiles as well as quad bikes are there for those, who look for other activities and fun besides skiing and snowboarding.
